Big Things Happening at Carver STEAM Magnet Elementary School

A wonderful evening full of interactive experiences relating to science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics was hosted by Carver STEAM Magnet at The Museum of Discovery on Friday, March 17, and it was the perfect kick-off to spring break!  The event was thoroughly enjoyed by a large, enthusiastic crowd. Additionally, many of Carver’s fifth graders participated in a drumming performance that was a collaborative project between the two organizations. Zinse Agginie, an artist in residence at the Museum of Discovery, and Debbie Headley, Carver’s Music Specialist, developed the percussive performance piece.

On Wednesday, March 22, two of Carver's talented young actors were asked to be part of a table read for a possible new show at Arkansas PBS in Conway, Arkansas -  Zuri Parson, and Genesis Martinez. .  The LRSD community is super proud of you Zuri and Genesis!
