Congrats to Michelle Xu and Sarah Shirley, named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, in the 2019 graduating class of Little Rock Central High. Michelle plans to study economics at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sarah hasn’t decided on her major but will attend Harvard. Your LRSD family is proud of both of you ladies!

Local Firefighters Visit Camp Can Do 2019
at Terry Elementary
LR firefighters visited #CampCanDo2019 at Terry Elementary to teach students about fire safety. Then, these brave heroes took pics and autographed coloring sheets for students.
Frankly Reading Students get Special Visit from THV 11
THV 11's Craig O'Neill dropped in to visit students
participating in the Frankly Reading Series. O'Neill says he was impressed with
the progress students are making. R.I.S.E. trained LRSD teachers are providing students with intensive support in phonics and phonemic awareness.
