Omega Reading Day A Hit!
Meadowcliff Elementary students sat attentively as members of the Omega fraternity read stories to them. This volunteer effort took place recently as part of the Omega's volunteer efforts during their regional meeting in Little Rock.  We thank these men for being a fine example to our LRSD students by serving as readers.

LR Southwest High School Principal Marvin Burton and Supt. Mike Poore met with newly hired department chairs for the high school. In addition, a tour was given to faith-based leaders who participate in the “Story Time with Pastors” reading group. These pastors got a firsthand view of the latest construction developments at the state-of-the-arts site.
