Way to Go LRCH Student Writers!

Central High School is thrilled to celebrate its five student writers who received awards for their writing during this year's Achievement Awards in Writing. LRSD joins LRCH in celebrating this tremendous achievement. This year, schools nominated 360 students to participate in the Achievement Awards in Writing Program. Of those, 114 were selected to receive the First Class designation, 131 received the Superior designation, 71 received the Excellent designation, and 31 received the Merit designation.
The program's goal is to encourage high school sophomores and juniors to write and publicly recognize the best student writing.

Prestigious Science Scholarship

Parkview Archery Team to Attend
 National Competition
Thanks to Generous Donation

We mean it when we say we have the best community around. Each Parkview archery team member received a $250 check from the Rosedale Optimist Club to help make it possible for the team to attend its national competition. The team was one of four in the state to get the nod for nationals. The entire team made their aim at the Bullseye Regional competition at Lyons College, and individual rounds of NASP (National Archery School Program) by AGCF. These archers advance to Louisville, KY, where they will compete with 18,000 archers nationwide!  Good luck, team!

It's a Celebration at the Spring
