Bluebell Surprises LRSD Teacher of the Year with Ice Cream Party

For LRCH's first pep rally - students got a real sweet treat! Blue Bell was on hand to recognize Arkansas Teacher of the Year Semi Finalist and LRSD Teacher of the Year Stacey McAdoo, providing ice cream for the entire 2,400 plus student body and staff in Mrs. McAdoo's honor. Mrs. McAdoo was also given a special award and a large cooler full of her favorite flavor (chocolate). Congrats Mrs. McAdoo and a huge thank you to Blue Bell.
BTW, Mrs. McAdoo is still in the running to become the next top teacher in Arkansas! We're keeping our fingers crossed!

LRSD Athlete of the Month
LRSD is proud to recognize McClellan's Derrick Lloyd as the first "Athlete of the Month" for the year.  As a running back/outside linebacker for the impressive, undefeated Crimson Lions, this young man is racking up some serious stats, to date:

Derrick enjoys playing all sports, video games, and lifting weights. He currently has a 3.0 GPA. Way to go, Derrick, and continued best wishes to your Lion teammates!
