Parkview High Student Works to Pass Legislation to Benefit Students with Epilepsy

Parkview High Senior Sadie Kirk is doing big things at the school and state levels to have school personnel trained on how to recognize when a student is having a seizure and what to do. She gave her first Seizure Training for School Personnel at Parkview High School on February 17.

She is also helping the Epilepsy Foundation of Arkansas Advocacy Committee get the Seizure Safe Schools Act passed so that school personnel will be trained statewide on what to do if someone experiences a medical emergency.
