Friday Highlights 9.10.21

Remembering 9-11
History teachers play an important role in educating our students about critical periods that define our times.  LR West High School of Innovation teacher Megan Prettyman was featured this week on THV-11, sharing her story - what she remembered about September 11, 2001 as a first-grader.  She now helps her students, all whom were not even born, understand how history has been shaped by the events of 9-11.

Carver Elementary Mr. Jason Crader to Appear on Wheel of Fortune!

Catch Carver Elementary East facilitator, Mr. Jason Crader, on Wheel of Fortune this Tuesday, September 14th, 6:30 p.m. No stranger to being in the spotlight, Mr. Crader has been recognized for numerous accomplishments over the years. In 2019, he was named Little Rock Family's Amazing Educator for his hard work and devotion to his students.

During his 17 years of dedicated service within the Little Rock School District, Mr. Crader has spearheaded his share of District initiatives. Good luck Mr. Crader, your LRSD family will be tuned in, rooting for you!
