Poore Man on the Roof Campaign Benefits Community

KARK reporter- Mandy Noell, LRSD supporter- Aaron Lubin, and Watershed Board Members join Supt. Mike Poore to kick off #LRSDPooreMan2020.
Washington Elementary students, Xavier Clark, Zion Thompson and Alycea Wilkins join Supt. Mike Poore and others during one of his breaks from his office perch.  The Washington students picked the day he would work outside, indicating that Feb. 7 would be the coldest.  They hit it - a chilly 27 degrees when Poore opened his office hours at 5 a.m.!
This is the Forest Park student who sparked a movement - Charlotte Warren (R) created the marketing materials to help promote #LRSDPooreMan2020; she then inspired her classmates, including her best friend, Lily (left) to collect nearly 3,000 canned goods and non-perishable items.

We know we can always count of LR City Year to support our cause - in and out of the classroom!
Talk about a class act - special thanks to the student leadership from LR Catholic High School, who heard about #LRSDPooreMan2020 and stepped up in a big way, delivering hundreds of canned goods!
