This graduation season, nearly 1,500 Little Rock School District seniors walked across the stage at Verizon Arena, signifying their commitment to complete their high school education and pursue college and career goals. Their accomplishments lend to the overall improvement of LRSD’s high school graduation rate, from 74% three years ago to 82% this year!

Congrats to Hall HIgh's Luis Claros Del Cid, who received the ess student scholarship for the amount of $1,500.
International Science Fair Winners
Ten Central High students represented us
very well at the International Science and Engineering Fair in
Phoenix, Arizona. More than 1,400 projects represented over 80 countries in the
largest pre-college science fair in the entire world. The following
students deserve a pat on the back: Akshat Shah, Hetvi Shah, Surabhee Eswaran,
Akshay Padala, Zane Alsebai, Sree Raghav, Deniz Erdag, Amna Khan, Anusha
Bhattacharyya, and Sakshi Garg.
2nd place in Material Science at Intel ISEF 2019!
Also: an extra congratulations to Amna Khan, third place
Chemistry winner, and Anusha Bhattacharyya, second place Materials Science
winner. Sakshi Garg was chosen to address a panel of Nobel
Laureates, MacArthur Fellows, and National Medal of Science Recipients
including Martin Chalfie, Elissa Hallem, Cato Laurencin, and Dianne Newman. What a trip!

student at Forest Park Elementary, was the overall state essay winner in the
Stock Market Game’s Investwrite competition. Marsha Masters, Director of
Economics Arkansas, presented both Ava, and her GT teacher, Jason Finney, with
$50.

5th grader, Ishani Pokharel was named a semifinalist in the National Handwriting competition - out of 250,000 entrants!
