Dunbar Book Club Christmas Party

Dunbar Librarian, Wendy Ward, and 8th grade GT English teacher, April Moore, hosted a Christmas party during lunch on Wednesday, December 12th for their 8th grade book club that meets weekly in the library.  This was a special event because this group of 8th graders have participated in Ms. Ward and Mrs. Moore's book club since they were in 6th grade.  The students discussed their current book, The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas during the pizza party and ended the party by receiving a gift of a book of their choice as their Christmas present. The students are looking forward to the next book their book club will read after the holiday break.
