LRSD Stephens Elementary Gift-Giving Tree Featured on KARK Channel 4!
This year students from Stephens Elementary made ornaments with a wish-list of their top 3 books instead of toys. Now, anyone can stop by the school, pick an ornament or two from the tree, and then help promote literacy by buying and donating one of the listed books. Students are off for a couple weeks during the holiday season and they can cozy up with their favorite book and it promotes reading. The school will accept books for the students until Dec. 19.
