LRSD School Board Votes to Name New K-8 School After Dr. Marian G. Lacey

Following input from the community, the Little Rock School District Board of Education voted Thursday to name the new K-8 school being built to replace McClellan - the Dr. Marian G. Lacey K-8 Academy.  Dr. Lacey, a beloved educator/administrator and Milken Award winner, passed in 2017. The District’s highest teacher award is also named in her honor.  Congratulations to the Lacey family - a befitting tribute to her memory and legacy.
