LRSD Started the 2021-2022 School Year Off Hitting All the Right Notes!

The first day of school was as exciting as you'd imagine! The buzzing hallways of schools across the district were filled with students locating their classes, familiarizing themselves with their schedules, and reconnecting with friends after a long summer. It was certainly a touching sight to witness our students both thrilled and determined to tackle a new school year. Our dedicated educators were there every step of the way, aiding students in their transition back to school. We captured a  few photos and a video snippet of the electrifying energy on the first day back to share with you below:

Parkview's Dylan Patel Selected as a Member of the Class of 2021 Arkansas Bank of America Student Leaders!

In 2004, Bank of America started its Student leaders program which recognizes 300 community-focused juniors and seniors from across the nation each year. The Student Leaders from Arkansas participated in an eight-week paid internship where they took on a collaborative, mentor-focused project, working closely with Junior Achievement of Arkansas and the Museum of Discovery on their respective social media campaigns! We are so proud of you, Dylan, for being selected out of 300 students nationwide for this undoubtedly amazing opportunity! What a great way to kick-off the school year!
