Thanks to a City of Little Rock Partnership Three LRSD Schools et to Experience EAST

The partnership between the Little Rock School District and the City of Little Rock continues to reap big dividends. Washington, Mabelvale, and Stephens elementary schools will get to experience EAST as a result! EAST is an educational opportunity that combines service and technology to transform schools.  EAST programs encourage critical thinking and creative problem-solving by providing students with real-world experience.  We're excited to see the positive impact this partnership will bring these community schools.

2nd Friday Art Night

2nd Friday Art Night
Downtown, Little Rock, AR

To highlight the incredible art, culture, and history of downtown Little Rock, several entities band together and host an after-hours art night every second Friday of the month. Regular hosts include Historic Arkansas Museum, Old State House Museum, UA Little Rock Downtown, Nexus Coffee & Creative, Bella Vita Jewelry, Central Arkansas Library System’s Bookstore, and Galleries at Library Square.

Each month provides new themes and exhibits for people to explore, completely free of charge. As the area spans the Creative Corridor and River Market District, attendees are encouraged to visit several venues during the course of an evening - by car or on foot. Many locations provide refreshments, and downtown restaurants are equipped to satisfy any culture seeker's hunger.
